One Digi Stamp of choice
This is what I created:

For this card, I started with a base that was die cut with Craftin Desert Divas Crazy Stitched Frame Dies. I wanted a window for my little girl to look out from so I created it with the CDD Mix It Dies. For some texture, I ran this frame through my Big Shot using a wood-grain embossing folder.

My sweet little girl is from CDD Happy Thoughts stamps as well as my sentiment. I colored her with Copic markers.

My card is finished off with a few die cut flowers included in the Crazy Stitched Frames Dies

I hope you will join in the fun and link up your "Red, White & Blue" project! I can't wait to see what you create! You can link up your creation on the CDD Blog!

Until next time...

Craftin Desert Divas June Release Showcase

Hi There!

As you may know by now Craftin Desert Divas did things in reverse with our release this month and we did the blog hop first. And, instead of sneak peeks we are showcasing the new stamps throughout this week. So, this is day 3!

Today the focus is on the new Greeting Word Dies and Tiny Sentiments Stamps.

I happening to LOVE these sets!! They work perfectly together and the Tiny Sentiments work great with the word dies: Wishful Thoughts.

Here is the card I made for today's featured products...

To create this card I first started with the outline image from the Botanical Layers stamp set. I heat embossed the images in white embossing powder and water colored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I really love these pens! It's is so fun coloring with them!!

After the coloring dried I spayed my flowers with some Sparkle Spritz spray. I really wish the pictures picked up on that for you. It is quite pretty!

I cut out my flowers and added them to a frame that was cut with the Picture Frame Dies and the Mix It Up Dies. The frame was embossed with an old Cuttlebug embossing folder.

For the layer underneath, I sponged on some Distress Inks: Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, and Tumbled Glass. I added some water droplets, then splattered it with some white and black ink.

I still wanted a softer look so I layered a piece of vellum on top.

I stacked a few of the Greeting Word Dies together and water colored it with my Zigs. I chose a sentiment from Tiny Sentiments and heat embossed it in black.

A few touches with a white gel pen and some Glossy Accents here and there and my card was complete!

There is a Facebook Inspiration Hop going on right now. If you would like a chance to with some Craftin Desert Divas store credit head on over to Facebook!

That's it for me today!

Have a good one!!

Awesome Birthday! ~ Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party

Hello friends! The theme for this Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas is "Masculine"! We would love to see all of your projects that fit this theme! So go ahead and craft it and link it up on the Craftin Desert Diva's Blog.

Every other Monday will mark the beginning of a new semi-weekly Linky Party over at the CDD blog. We hope you will share your projects with us! And don't forget about  the prizes! Every Linky Party will have a winner and a Top 3!
The more times you link up...the more chances you have to win!!

Our Sponsors for this Linky Party are:

One 4"x 6" stamp set
One Digi Stamp of choice
This is what I created:
When I first started thinking about this theme I was struggling a bit. Masculine cards are harder for me to make than girly, cutsie type cards. I had something else in mind but ended up with something entirely different!

I used the new Crazy Stitched Frame Dies and paired it with the Picture Frame Dies. I used some older Doodlebug papers and this dictated my color scheme.

I colored up a few images from the Calling All Superheroes stamp set with Copic markers and added to the openings in my frame.

This little superhero is so cute!! I just love him!

I  added a sentiment from the same Calling All Superheroes set and completed with a die cut word from the new Greeting Word Dies. My card was complete when I added some Doodle Bug Designs Birthday Boy Sprinkles.

I hope you will join in the fun and link up your "Masculine" project! I can't wait to see what you create! You can link up your creation on the CDD Blog!

Until next time...

Happy Crafting!!

Welcome to the CDD June Product Release Blog Hop.
All stamps are in the CDD Shop and now available for purchase HERE.

We also offer SVG stamp outlines for .99 they work perfectly with your cutting machine. You must have a program that opens these files. This is a great alternative to coordinating dies and much less expensive.

New $1.00 sequins....

Here's what I've created for you...

For my first card I used the new Crazy Stitched Frames. I love this new set of dies!. The stitching is fabulous!! I had been dying to use the Across the Border stamps to create streamers after Jan, my fellow design team sister, used the stamp in a similar way.

I curved the stamp in different direction and masked where needed. I colored it all in with Copic markers. The balloons are from CDD Party Dies. They were colored with Copic markers, as well.

For my second card I used the new Greeting Word Dies and Tiny Sentiments stamps.

I first cut my panel with CDD Picture Frame Die and inked it up with Distress Inks. I used Spun Sugar, Abandon Coral, Barn Door, and Aged Mahogany.

I, then, used the Heart of Heart Die to create a window for my shaker card. I filled the shaker with Peppermint Twist Sequins.

I cut the word Totally several times from the new Greeting Word Dies and stacked them for some dimension. The rest of my sentiment from the Tiny Sentiment stamps was heat embossed in white on a banner that was cut from the Flag Banner Dies.

Here you can see the dimension.

The card was finished off with some Glossy Accents on several of the hearts.

I hope you like what you see! I had a lot of fun with this release!

Just A Note ~ CDD Inspiration

Happy Over the Hump Day! Today I am sharing this water colored note card over on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog.

I am definitely into the water color craze and can't seem to stop with all the water coloring! I used Distress markers for my color medium on this card and water colored this pretty image from CDD Home Sweet Home set. Once colored I cut it out and mounted it on fun foam and layered it on a scallop circle from the Stitched in Circles Dies.

The sentiment I chose is from the CDD Happy Thoughts set. I punched the sentiment out with a circle punch and layered it on a couple of tags from the CDD Mix It Up Dies

The card was finished off with a few dots from my gel pen and a little jute twine!

Thanks for joining me today.
