Joy to the World!

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

If you are looking for the Peachy Keen Farewell Blog Hop click HERE or scroll down.

Today I am sharing my last Christmas card for this year.

I used the Carolers cut file from My Scrap Chick  and cut them at the actual size. This card ended up being a 5 x 7" card so that I could fit the images. I kept it pretty simple since the images took up most of the card.

I used Peachy Keen Stamps for their faces. For my ladies I used PK-560 Dolly Dumplins and for my gentleman I combined PK-642 Boy Mates with PK-145 Piles of 3/4" Smiles.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Winter Wishes set.

This card already went in the mail for my in-laws. I hope enjoy it!

My Scrap Chick has a great sale going on right now! Check it out HERE!

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!

My Sweet Ginger ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing some inspiration here and on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I have this cute cut file from My Scrap Chick that I couldn't wait to put together so I gathered some supplies that I got from Shop Pumpkin Spice and got to work.

This gingerbread belly box is so cute!! It is from the Christmas Belly Box set from My Scrap Chick. I started with some Bazzill Kraft Cardstock and cut the base of my box. I used some My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland 6x6 papers for the hat on my ginger. I ran the brim through my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I added a button and some bakers twine to the hat. I created the pom pom with some Caribbean Baker's Twine by The Twinery .

This cute face was created with PK-1202 The Moodies 2 1/4" faces. Glossy Accents were added to the eyes for a little shine.

With the holiday coming this is a fun way to give a yummy treat!

Make sure to check out all the fun crating items Shop Pumpkin Spice has to offer!

Christmas Tag ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Welcome to the First Saturday in December and the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop.

This month is all about tags.

If you came from June's Blog: Simply Elegant Paper Crafts then you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog and want to start from the beginning the head on over to June's blog because she is the first stop!!

Here is the tag I created for you today.

For m y tag I chose designer paper from My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland (psst.. this paper is on sale!!). I have loved this paper so much that I have 2 pads and lots of scraps. So, I thought this would be a great way to use up some of those scraps.

I used the Stitched Hexy Dies from My Creative Time and cut out 10 hexies. I, then, created my tree. It was really easy and I love the way it came out. I topped the tress with some Twinery Baker's Twine and topped it with a brad from the coordinating My Mind's Eye Brads.

I added a little stitching around my tag and stapled on some ribbon from my stash.

There are many items on sale at Shop Pumpkin Spice make sure to visit the store HERE or HERE.

Now it's time to see what Heather has created!

Hang It On A Tree ~ PKS Challenge

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am here today to share my project that I created for the newest Peachy Keen Stamps challenge.

This week's challenge:

Create a 3D object of your choice following the theme "Hang it on a tree!" It could be garland, ornaments or anything else of your choosing!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 12/11 - 11:59 pm EST

I haven't put my Christmas tree up yet so I took these out in my front yard and hung them on that tree. :)

I used a cute cut file from My Scrap Chick called Winter Pavor Favor Boxes and Cards to create my Christmas Ornaments.

My gingerbread was stamped with PK-521 Winter Faces 1 1/8.  I colored in the nose and hearts with my Copics then I added a little glossy accents to the hearts. The cookies got some fruit punch Stickles and some DS65-3 Snow Writer. I thought it looked like frosting.

Isn't the penguin cute!! I stamped his face with PK-755 Critter Faces Set A Large

I had to a Santa, too! Santa's face was stamped with PK-1321 In the Garden 1 1/8th faces.

I added some white gel pen accents to all my ornaments.

I punched a small hole through both parts of the boxes and knotted a ribbon loop and pulled it through. The boxes can hold a somethin' somethin' inside.

Here's one last picture where you can kind of see the sides.

I hope you will join us in the challenge this week! You can share your link to your "Hang It On A Tree" project on the challenge board at Peachy Keen Stamps!

Simple Birthday ~ Peachy Keen Stamps December Sneak Peek

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing another sneak peek of Peachy Keen Stamps December release.

I love these new Reverse Sentiments that Angelica created!

I used the happy birthday sentiment to make a quick card. The background of my card was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Birthday embossing folder. The rick rack was created with Chevron and Rick Rack die from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

I stamped my sentiment from PK-1347 Reverse Sentiments in some Tsukineko Brilliance Dew Drop Ink in Pearlescent  Orchid ink. It has a nice shimmer to it. I tried to capture it in this picture.

I layered my sentiment on top of a scallop that I punched and a Tim Holtz rosette.

It was super quick and so easy to put together!

Tonight is the night that you will be able to see the whole reveal and you will finally be able to purchase your stamps. Join us on Facebook HERE to get in on all the release party fun!

The Peachy Keen Store will have to stamps ready for purchase after the full reveal.

Holly Jolly Boot ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a project I made for the new Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps.

The challenge for this week is to use something silver or gold.

I made this cute Santa's Boot.

This cute Santa's boot is a cute file from My Scrap Chick. It takes a little time to put together but it is well worth it!

I used a patterned paper for the boot that I've had in my stash for a long time.

I tied a silver bow around it and added a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps A Holiday to Remember. I stamped it then punched it with my circle punch and layered it in the scallop circle.

For the cuff of the boot, I ran it through my Xyron sticker maker and added some white Fun Flock to it.

This is such a fun way to give a little gift and now that I've made one I know better how to put it together next time.

You can join us in challenge over on the Scrappy Moms Stamps Blog

Scrappy Moms Stamps is also having a guest design team call and there is space for one permanent designer. You can check out the details HERE.

Thank you for joining me today.

Snowman Gift Box with My Scrap Chick

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a project that I created using a files from My Scrap Chick.

I started a new job 2 weeks ago and my crafting time has been not as easy to come by so my postings may be a little less than normal until I adjust to my new schedule. I did manage to work on this project a little everyday this past week and I really love the way it turned out.

To create my snowman, I used the Creepy Crawlers Trio. I sized each octagon box using Silhouette Designers Studio and made each box approximately 1/2 inch smaller than the other. I, also, sized the edge of each spider box lid just slightly smaller so it would fit inside each box bottom. Before I put my boxes together I ran them through my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I added a bit of blue ink to the embossing and then put my boxes together.

My snowman's face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-548 1 1/4" Snow Faces. I colored in his nose with Copic markers. A circle was added to create his hat brim. I embellished his hat with some crinkle ribbon, jingle bells, some punched greenery, and some bits and pieces from a floral pick. I gave him a red felt scarf and some buttons and embellished him further with some coarse glitter here and there to give him a frozen effect.

Each part of the snowman opens to tuck some candies or a gift inside. He would look wonderful as part of a winter display, too.

Check out My Scrap Chick to see all the fun files that are carried. You can make them as is or use your imagination to create something different by combining files.

Thank you for joining me today.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!

Hello ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps November Release

Hi there!! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was busy and I really didn't have much free time to play in my craft room but I did manage to put this quick card together.

To create card I used the Hello stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release "Just Sayin'." I stamped it repeatedly on a piece of white cardstock using Momento Tuxedo Black ink.

My sewing machine was set up with black thread so I decided to add some stitiching around the edge. It's a little wonky. Going around curves on paper is not easy!!

I added some pink ribbon and a bow then I used the MFT Say What? dies that Scrappy Moms Stamps now carries and stamped Hello in pink. I popped that with some foam tape.

Like a said super fast and now I have a card to grab that is good for a little pick me up.

If you haven't gotten your hands on the the new stamps and dies yet then head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps!

Here is a look at the new sets:

Be sure to check out what my fellow designers have created and don't forget to leave some love on our guest designers blog: Scrappin' Dilly

That's it for me today.

I'll be back tomorrow with a brand new SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge project.

Until then....
Happy Crafting!!
